Morris Bike Bus

Join the Morris Bike Bus! A “bike bus” is when a group of kids and adults bike to school together as a group. Its a safe way for kids to bike to school.

Meet at the astronaut statue at Rose Park. At 7:40am, we leave towards the school. Its a 1 mile bike ride that takes under 10 minutes.

After school, same route in reverse.

Other parents, please join! I (Nick Frevold) will lead the bike bus in the mornings and after school at 2:30pm.

Every school day, unless the temperature dips below freezing or thunderstorms are forecast.

Join any day you wish to. No sign up required. Just show up at the meetup location or along the route.

Forming your own bike bus at your school

Not in the Morris school district and interested in starting your own bike bus for your school district? Contact us and we can help you form one! We’ll help you find other parents and cyclists in the area who are familiar with the best bike routes to the schools. We’ll help you work with the school and help spread the word to other parents to get more people to join your bike bus.
