Huntsville Transit Stops – An easy way to view all the routes and stops using google maps.

Huntsville Transit Info Log – A detailed spreadsheet listing all the information about transit stops, such as frequency, shelter availability, and ease of access.

High Quality Bike Lanes – A map of all the bike lanes and paths that are safe and useful. Does not include dangerous “bike gutters” along high speed roads or purely recreational greenways.

City Resources

Seeclickfix – is an excellent way to report any issue you see within the city, such as damaged playground equipment, lack of painted crosswalk after a road was repaved, tree debris on the sidewalk or road, or any number of other problems you come across.

Transit Maps – All the information you need for the bus service in Huntsville on the city website.

Huntsville MPO – This organization plans the urban development of Huntsville and the surrounding area. Learn here about the plans for new roads, bikeways, and other infrastructure projects. There are typically a few public input meetings each year where you can join to voice your opinion.

Madison County Property Viewer – View who owns property, how much property is valued, and how much tax they pay.

Interactive Maps – View loads of information about the city, such as locations of districts, bike lanes, schools, and more. Click the layers icon on the top right.

Code of Ordinances – All the ordinances of the city.

City Council Meeting Notification – To receive email notification of upcoming City Council meetings and special work sessions. City council agendas are posted a day or two before the meetings.

Other Organizations

Huntsville Urban Bike Share Coop (HUBS Coop) – HUBS is a nonprofit bike shop that takes in donated bikes, refurbishes them, and brings them back into the community.

Bicycle Advisory Safety Committee (BASC) – Provides knowledge about cycling to advance education, enable planning, encourage cycling, and develop safe transportation facilities in the Huntsville, Alabama area. It is made up of cyclists and City of Huntsville (CoH) staff that meet monthly to discuss non-motorized transportation to generate public awareness and support for this initiative.
